Magnetic Base 10 Blocks

These magnetic base 10 blocks are an awesome way to teach math concepts to students. I use these each day in my classroom as part of our calendar activities. We use the day of the month for several different things including identifying the number of 10's and 1's in the number and representing the number with these base 10 blocks. As the year progresses I throw in some 3 digit and 4 digit numbers for the students to represent with these base 10 blocks.

Amazing Teacher Resource for Small Group Reading Instruction

This book is amazing.  I started using it a few years ago and the reading growth that my students have shown sense I started using this book has been unbelievable.  The use of this book helped me to achieve receiving an excellence in teaching award!  The book shows you how to group your student and shows you what activities to do with each group at their stage of learning.  It contains a cd which includes the resources that you need.  Excellent resource!
